Everyday Athlete

Everyday Athlete is a passion project. As the years went by and the traditional fitness and sports training we used to perform led to a cycle of injury, recovery, injury, we knew there had to be a different way to train. If we just had better guidance as young kids, we would be so much further ahead. It’s never too late (or early!) to start moving well and moving often!

That is why Everyday Athlete was born!

Our Program

Training with a PURPOSE!

Assessment/ Test: Every great program begins with a proper assessment. This is essential to get a baseline of movement ability, strength and endurance. We will check rotation joint ability, active range of motion as well as basic upper/lower body strength test and an endurance test. This assessment is vital to recommend the best program flow that fits your needs and helps navigate both your short and long term health and fitness goals!

6-Week Training Block: Based on the intention of the class (mobility, cardiovascular, muscular strength) we will be progressing over this span challenging you in various fundamental and primal movement patterns, stability movements and end range strength exercises with the goal of improved full body control, function and performance.

1-Week De-load/Recovery: during this week, we will focus on recovery and lower intensity movements in order to rest our bodies from the progressive intensity from the previous week and prime us for test week!

Re-test & Progress: We will be testing various movements and abilities based on the class. These will be logged so you’re able to see your ongoing performance progress and person goals reached and surpassed as we get deeper into the training program.

Small Group

We are committed to delivering performance driven 1:1 and small group training designed to challenge, progress and regularly test active joint mobility and strength, cardiovascular conditioning, along with muscular strength and hypertrophy.

The assessment is the first step into recommending the best program for you based on needs and personal goals!
